NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and august. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. https://www.themarker.com/labels/2022-09-12/ty-article-labels/00000183-31c8-d6c9-a197-79cd96360000 This is a four% increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

"The United States is our number one destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are so happy to witness such a positive shift and expect it to continue for a long time."
נווה פריצקי Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not too far away from our record for 2019, and we anticipate that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the globe."
Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
